Bogstad Manor
Visit the beautiful property of the Prime Minister Peder of anchor, count Herman Wedel Jarlsbergs and the countess Karin Wedel Jarlsbergs with furniture, painting and porcelain of the end 18. Jhs. Much Norwegian history, policy and culture from the time of 1750-1850. Bogstad is surrounded by a beautiful English garden, the first romantic landscape park of Norway.

Here are the whole year livestock animals, a play corner for children, good walking possibilities, a historical park and changing exhibitions in resounds. In the Bogstad Farmstead are cows, sheep, goats, chickens and rabbits. Beyond that, stables for ten private horses, and sometimes are to be found also pigs. We cultivate also potatoes and corn. Bogstad is visited each year by thousands of school children.

Opening hours :
The Bogstad Manor with exhibitions, café and shop is all year round opened (except Monday). Guidance in the museum only from mid of May until mid of September, outside of the season for groups according to agreement.

Admission price :
Free entrance. Admission fees only for guidance.

Offer :
Café, shop and exhibition in the lobby are throughout the year opened, Tuesday until Sundays, from 12.00 to 16.00 o´clock.
